Could you guys direct me to a source where I can obtain an Extender for the G2 so that I can run 2 p17500s or 2 p17670s? I'm trying to extend the run time.
TIA

If you run an extender with the G2, you will need to change LA.
Those rechargeables you mention are 3.7v (ie you will total 7.4v for 2 and they'll actually be 8.4v hot off the charger)
Thus you will blow a 6v bulb such as the P60 or P61.

You need a 9v LA such as the P90, or a G&P or a Digilight.

How much longer run time someone else can answer as the 9v globes are brighter and thus draw more juice than the P60.

You could get a 3.7v LA and rechargables 17670's (using one at a time) and have a pretty good setup. Look for AW's thread in the Dealers section.

Regards
Dave

I'm already running the G&P 9V on them with 2 unprotected. I just don't know where to get an extender that would be the right size to work with the 17500 or 17670. I think the an-14 is in between though I'm not sure. I saw some extenders on Lighthound but they're like over $20 and that seems too rich for this kind of a small mod.

I dunno maybe the an-14 and 2 17500s and a spacer?

Has anyone done this mod, in a cost effective way?

Some versions of the A19 can fit the G2 if i recall correctly.

The AN-19 is made of nitrolon and is 1.5x the size of a CR123a. So you will need a spacer half the length of a CR123a to work. The other option is to wait until March and pick up a new G3.
