I'm looking to buy a side-emiting 3W Luxeon and want the whitest brightest bin I can find. What would that be, post you prices here. A Side emiter should use more of it light in a MAg Mode than a Dome-emiter right?

I'm not sure I've ever seen a Luxeon III SE before. Pretty hard to find lights that use the Luxeon I SE. You might have to purchase from Lumileds directly.
