Christmas Gift Help (High Power Flashlight)

My dad was in awe of this guy walking his dog. Who had a flashlight that he said cost around $90 bucks, that was "crazy powerful". It was small only the size of the doods palm, but lit up a small area to almost daylight. My dad even said the dood shined it strait up and he said it looked like it lit up a cloud...haha.

Any idea what my dad is talking about here? Would make a good gift if it's in that price range.

I'm leaning towards the SureFire...i've seen a couple SureFire E2D?? What is the difference?

Also, where could I purchase this locally? I'm from Jersey

it will come with batts in the flashlight and if it got shipped via first class or priority it should be here next week. so did you gget the e2d or e2e either way he will be way happy and impresed.

e2d, just cause it looks toward more his line. I got UPS Ground for Free...hopefully that wasn't a mistake.

Free UPS Ground is standard from OpticsHQ. Great guys to deal with; my orders get here in about a week. Last time I ordered from them, it was shipped via FedEx though... not complaining because it came more quickly than I expected.

Just a heads up:

I may be wrong but seems like I remember in a thread here that those were shipped with the MN02 (lower power 25 lumens) instead of the MN03 (60 lumens), which is why they're so cheap. You may need to call and ask them before buying.
