Well I aquired some digital potentiometers last week and tested out the interface with the driver. They seemed to work well together. I have some Seoul Semiconductor W11490 (168 Lumens at 1600ma) Leds on the way.
The pot can be controlled by 1 or 2 momentary pushbuttons. I got a few pushbuttons and some military spec Hexseals to cover them. As soon as the new pcb's get here Thursday, I should be ready to get started on this project. It should be a real flamethrower (heh heh) if I get it to work out
