What alternative is there to the Fenix L2T

After looking at the L2T I kind if like it. However, I was wondering if there were any alternatives that were similar but cheaper.

The main things I like about it are the facts that it has:
High/Low stages
Runs off of AA batteries (Rechargable)
Switch on the tail

Thank you in advance for any kind of information.

How about the L2S, pretty much the same, slightly less power, cheaper. Just got one today and it is a nice little light.

The problem is, many Fenix clones do not match the quality of the genuine Fenix lights. All too many suffer from lower efficiency circuits, fake Luxeon LEDs, and unreliable switches. When you buy a Fenix, especially from dealers such as Fenix-Store and Lighthound, you get a lifetime warranty should something break or fail. When you buy a clone and it fails... you're pretty much left holding the bag.

Although the Liteflux LF1 comes highly rated, it'll run you $50 shipped.

Probably the best alternative to the Fenix L2T is the Lumapower LM302 for $27 shipped:

As for the other clones, I really like the Ultrafire brand...their lights are actually fairly well made. If one does break on you (and I have yet to have one fail on me), they're cheap enough to just buy another.

Here's a thread that has good things to say about one of Ultrafire's more popular 1AA models:

You can find decent, nicely priced flashlights here:

When it comes to 2AA lights the L2s is hard to beat price and qualitywise. The Liteflux LF1 is a good choice too, you get two lights in one.

But if I were you, I would wait. There are popping up crees everywhere now, just a question of time before Fenix or someone else releases a AA-cree which will blow the rest of the AA-lights away. And I would venture a guess that the price on Luxeon-lights will drop after cree is introduced more widely.
