Those are actually pretty cool.

Something that I try to do and like to see in beamshots is the pattern of the beam, and a comparison against other beams.

Scale is good too. Something common like a chair or something that people can relate too, along with an approximate distance.

Other than that, I think you're off to a good start.

Thanks for taking the time to get those shots. I'll be unwrapping a 3AA MagLED in a few days and lighting up the trees, too. The exposure on your shots looks good, but you might try using the self-timer and a tripod to reduce the shake. Hand holding a digital in low light is tough.
