Anyone know which lights are compatible with 14500 batteries?

I have several and am interested in getting the most from the lights.
Right now I have LF1, Fenix, Ultrafire, Huntlight, and several I can not think of at the moment.
Anyone ever make a list of lights that can be used?
I am new and have heard the 14500 batteries will make the led lights brighter, but instaflash incan's...

The Jetbeam Jet MKII is compatable with the 14500 and its very bright and nice and white. (sorry for the unintentional rhyme!) Mine has a protected 14500 in it and i've run it with no problems.

Where do you get a Jetbeam MK II?

Anyone know if the other lights mentioned can use a 14500?
Thanks!

You can order JetBeam MK II From Litemania or Pacific Tactical Supply in the Dealers Forum. It is a great EDC fror me. Very bright.

Enjoy, Marlite

If you can still find one, the Fenix L1+ (the stainless steel model) runs with any type of AA sized cell including Li-Ion 14500's.

Before anyone else, TnC was (is) making the Key-Lux AA lights used with 14500 cells. The TnC SF-Series also has a AA tube that can be used with 14500 cells as well.

I've tested my protected AW 14500 in a couple of lights, and can say the Fenix L1T and Liteflux LF1 both take it quite well - gives you about 40-45mins of brighter than normal light until it suddenly shuts off. The real star is the Ultrafire 602A1 that fifthunit used to sell until recently (under the VIPPA name) - gets about 90mins of equivalently bright light. Unfortunately, the newer VIPPAs are different, so I don't know if that excellent performance holds.

So, I just got an L1T and would like to get some 14500s. Which should I get, the protected or unprotected???

If you want bright output without dim get the unprotected ones.
If you want brighter output with dimming after sometime of use get the unproctected ones but once the dim is noticeable ( for the unprotected ) recharge them immediately or you will ruin them.
