I'll assume your talking about the A19 Cree 1 x 123 lights. Yes, a Mc2es switch with a 5 ohm resistor should do the trick. I think thats what wayne said anyway....

The description for the 1x123 2stage says it has a 15-ohm resistor.
Is that one using a different controller?

My A19 XRE GD825 works with a 10 ohm 2-stage modded McClicky, but only with an RCR123. The lo level won't work with a primary.

I tested one GD825 and I needed a 5 ohm switch and that's what I've been recommending for the GD825.

For other drivers a different value might be needed. Each driver behaves differently.
