We were looking for something and I found my old Nokia 3360.

It is in 95% condition. It works like a champ.

And it looks killer! I had gotten a red. white and blue cover for it, and always kept in in a another cover that hooked on my belt.

So why *$&#^$&$#?

It doesn't use a smart card and so can't be used anymore!

ARGH! *$#&*#^#^&$*

Hmm. Analog and TDMA. Good for an emergency cell phone for a little while until Analog and TDMA spectrums get sold and used for other things.

Kinda related to this and the pack-rat thread:

My wife just got rid of my Nokia G-15 (circa 1994) bag phone. Ah, the good old days of 3W coverage! She also made me get rid of my NEC (1996), Qualcomm analog-digital dual mode (1999) and another Nokia handheld (2002). We gave my Samsung to my two year to play with (took out battery to avoid a 911 call).

No one will get my PRETTY Nokia 3360 until it is pried from my cold dead hands!

I guess I could stash it in my truck for a 911 phone, but of course my 3120 is almost surgically attached to me anyway! Long live Nokia!

There haven't been any bag phones in our family since 1990 or 91

I can't recall ever tossing 'em, and don't really think we got to keep 'em...

My Nokia 3120 is a fabulous phone. It just doesn't do anything else. A wireless ear piece is getting pretty important these days....
