L2T (2AA and CR123A) and P1? runt time? brightness?

from flashlightreviews.com, the L2T with 2AA NiMH (http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/fenix_l1t-l2t.htm) is slightly brighter than P1 (http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/fenix_p1.htm)?

how does L2T runs on CR123A (with the CR123A tube)? run time? same brightness as 2AA NiMH?

if that's the case, the L2T with CR123A tube would be brighter than P1 with reverse clickie and dual stage?

My L2T on Nimh's and CR123a are identical in brightness. I've switched back and forth and neither look brighter than the other.

Both configurations of the L2T are brighter than my P1. My P1 has a fainter spill but tighter hotspot and more a blueish tint than my pure white L2T.

As for runtimes, I can't add anything as I don't track my useage, the Nimh's get recharged often, and the P1 is my backup light.

I'm using L2T/R123 as my EDC/keychain. Brighness is equal or better with the 3.7RCR2 than the NiMHs. It has the PERFECT size, small enough to put in the pocket, big enough to hold it in my palm, with a clickie too. Though, the low level is next to non-exsistence due to the 3.7V high voltage of the cell I'm using. It is a whole lot better than the twist P1 IMHO. Go for it

You won't regret buying this light...unless of course they come out with a L2D-CE before you even get a chance to use it!!! lol
