There is a guy in France known as Crazy Eric that carries upwards of 1,300(!) gadgets/tools/supplies on his person at all times. He is listed in the Guiness Book of Records as having the "world's most practical suit of clothing". I did a quick scan of his equipment lists and only found one flashlight - the Petzl Zipka...

I had another look through the "high" and "low" lists and found he also has a Pelican Mini Mitylite and some sort of laser pointer as well...
