Would it be possiable to cree mod a T3?

I was thinking about this, i wanna see if i could mod out a Inova T3 with a cree XR. is it doable without too much work? can you safely remove the emitter from the PCB it comes with? I just really love the optics on the T3 and think a cree would make me really love it. Now only if i had a high/low mode

I'm by no means an expert, but I remember reading some time ago that working on the T3 is ridiculously challenging. I think the emitter/optics combo make for a tough mod platform.

Perhaps others will chime in.

It's very tough. It's impossible to remove the optic without damaging either it or your light in some way.
