Greetings,

Here is the deal, I have a 4D Mag with incan and I also happen to have module from 3D MagLED.

Can I put that 3D Module in a 4D Mag?

Is it going to blow up or overheat? Or what?

I suspect the thermal protection will kick in to protect the module. You could put in 4 NIMH cells 4.6volts.

Have I missed something? Do we speak from the same drop-in?

Best regards

I have driven a 3 cell module with 4 Nimh AA (approx. 4.8V rested for a day after being charged) and it was noticably brighter compared to driven by 3 D alk batteries. I only tested it for about 20 seconds so longer term use is untested. The module continued to work in a 3 cell flashlight afterward. I would not try it with freahly charged batteries.

My intention was to create a bike light with a 3 cell module driven by 4 Nimh AA for max. run time.

Why not use the 4D led in the 3D body, then get one of my batteries,
They are 6v and sized for the 3D lights.
PM me or check out the sell section for lights...
4D power in 3D size!!
AND RECHARGABLE- FREE LUMENS!!

Uhhh... They're all using the same LEDs and are about the same brightness. The 4 Cell in the 4D is the lifetime monster.
