Hi, I was wondering what was the best lamp assembly for the Brickmann Maxfire running off 2 RCR123A batteries? I was thinking about the G90HP but I have no idea where to purchase it. When I try to go to www.digilightusa.com it says, "No web site is configured at this address." Now I am considering getting a HO-9 (9V, 320 Lumens) LA from the Lumen Factory. But I don't know how bright that would be compared to the G90HP.
I can't get the EO-9 (9V, 380 Lumens) because I would like to be able to use my light for more than 10 minutes.
Thanks for your help yall.

I have one set up running a G&P 3w Led
Depends if you want a longer run time- go with led.
If throw, a 9v incan and hot "R"'s

you can get a G&P G90 from:
http://www.lighthound.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1203

you could try a pathfinder P90 (which is similar, uses about 1.33amp as apposed to 1.2amp) here
http://www.qualitychinagoods.com/bulb-ultrafire-wf502b-p-403.html

this bulb might also work well: (havn't heard if anyone here has tried it out yet)...
http://www.qualitychinagoods.com/bulb-wf501b-p-521.html

there's some ebay sources for them as well:
http://cgi.ebay.com/G-P-G90-XENON-L...Z017QQcategoryZ106988QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

I believe that fifthunit also carries them but his site is down at the moment
http://contents.fifthunit.com/html/products.5th/category.0.html
might be woth holding out to see his price, he is usually really cheap.

you should also consider the LumensFactory SR-9 and ES-9 as good candidates for a 2xRCR123config.

You could also run a D26 from Wolf-Eyes, which is also a darn good lamp.
http://www.pts-flashlights.com/products/product.aspx?pid=1-25-26-46-6091

I believe this Pila lamps will also fit:
http://www.jsburlysflashlights.com/...pila_lamps&catstr=HOME:pila_lights:pila_lamps

oh yea.. you can also use a Surefire P90.. doesn't make since to start spending more on 1 lamp assembly than the flashlight costs to begin with? or does it? lol. (my P91 costs more than the ultrafire I use it in, lol)....

I say buy one of each, then you'll know for sure!!!
hehe... ok... so seriously- I think I would go with the D26 if you wanted one of the brighter options of the bunch with a reasonable runtime, (probably going to be around 20 minuts)... or the ES-9 from Lumensfactory if you want it to run nice and long.

I have heard that there are 2 or 3 different types of G90s. Is the one from lighthound or ebay the G90HP 175 lumen? I would like a bulb that would give me around the brightness of P90 with at least 20 minutes of burn time. I am also considering the HO-9, but how much runtime would that give me? The site says 40 minutes, but I don't see how that's possible.
How much runtime would G90HP give me?
Thanks again, Beaver 2

Hey, I was going to get my RCR123A batteries from www.e-lectronics.net.
He sells protected RCR123A 650mah batteries for $4.95 a piece. But, as I was browsing his site, I noticed this:
http://www.e-lectronics.net/xenon-flashlight-replacement-bulb-p-279.html
It looks like the stock Brickmann Maxfire bulb, but can handle 7.2V. Does anyone know if these bulbs are any good? Will it fit in well? Instead of getting a G90 for $10-15, I could get this for only $2.25!
Has anyone used these bulbs before?
Thanks again, Beaver 2

Hi Brinckman,

I'm not sure if this will work in your light or not; do the dimensions happen to match those of your OE bulb? If you place an order at e-lectroincs.net, put a note in the order comments that I offered you a free 7.2v xenon mini bulb and I'll include one for you to try out in your application.

If you do not place an order and still want one to evaluate, let me know your address and I'll send you one - no charge.

Happy new year!
