Are the KT1 and KT2 turboheads the same except for the lamp assembly included with them? I'm wondering if I could use a 6P with a cell extender and just buy an N2 lamp for my KT1. Is this a correct assumption?

Yes, exactly. The MN15/16 lamps will also work in the 6P + A19 extender. The N2 lamps are darn near impossible to find and have been for some time.

As stated above, the heads are the same. You might need to get the MN15 lamp assembly instead of the N2, since the N2 is rather hard to find.
If you want a really bright light, you can also run the MN16, but for only 20 minutes run time.

Thanks for the info. You guys are right, the N2's are hard to find. LA Police Gear sells them, I havn't checked to see if they actually have them in stock though.
