E1E head mod.

I have managed to get an E1E head in a trade, and want to mod it. The head is going on a CR2 body i got from lighthound, with a surefire clicky. Its such a nice looking light, but not that powerful. Whats the best way to go about it? I saw on another thread where somebody had turned down a fenix P1 head and milled out the inner part of the E head, and fitted it inside. I do have access to toolroom machinery, so machining is not a problem. Is there an easier alternative than this? Would love to get the Fenix P1D cree head in it too, but heard it was too big to get inside the E series bezel. Any ideas?
