Hi all,

Does anyone know if there's a red lens cover for the JetBeam MkII out there? I'm sure I could fab something, but would rather have something that looked good...

I also throw money at an astronomy hobby, and the Jet would be great as my carry light for doing that, if I could find a red cover... Yea, I've got ton's of red led lights that I've used up till now, but I also have to take a bright light for when I'm done. (gotta make sure I haven't left a high $ eyepiece or something out in the field :ohgeez: before I drive off.) I figured one light to do both jobs would be awesome, and the Jet with the 123 body on a lanyard is just right, but would nuke my night vision without a red cover. (another 45 minutes to re-adjust).

Thanks,

Roy

I'm mot familliar with your light, but check to see if any of the plastic bottle caps will fit ove the bezel of your light. Bottle caps come in different colors and sizes.

you can always just get a red theatre filter, and cut it down.
