PWM, PAM and Closed Loop Control for LED's

Seems to be lot's of interest in PWM (Peu's video was informative!).
See link below for an informative article that probably applies more to lghting fixtures other than flashlights, but still very apropos?

From the breif seconds I read that article it looks like they are making a system to constantly monitor Color temp and probably Color rendering index to keep it at a certain level.
