I have an account but It is linked to my home address and bank account. The problem is that I don't want my wife to "see" the money. This is because her birthday is coming up and that is what this money will be used for. She will be able to figure out what the money will be used for because of the amount (long story) If I do not accept the pay pal will the person that sent it to me be able to reverse the transaction, get thier money back then pay me by another means?

Bushman..When you request a "withdrawal" from PayPal, just ask that a check be sent to you instead of having the funds transferred to your checking account.

Will that work for you?

If you Deny the transaction (which I don't think is possible unless the sender used a credit card or provided an unverified address) then the money should immediately bounce back to them. They should have to do nothing further.

You could also Refund the money and it will also bounce right back with no further action on their part.

Getting them to resend via the other method is between you and them.
