I'm trying to use the LT3474 switching current source from linear to power some Edison LEDs and wondered if anyone has used them before. I'm using the non-PWM datasheet example circuit and a DIP adaptor. No dimming control and running really hot (thermal shutdown without a heatsink). I'll post back with any developments but any tips would be greatly appreciated.
