Hi Everyone,
I am new to this and find it awsome what you can do with a mag.
I've been reading on here for several nights and my friends and family already think i need medicine for an addicion to flashlights. I have a few ideas i would like to build.
At least 1.5 hr. run time on rechargeable batts.
At least 550 light lumen
Would it be best to use a bi-pin bulb or potted? Where do i find a bi-pin socket??
Does anyone make an alum. reflector that has a cam to adjust beam??

Thanks veeeeerrrryyyyyyyy much!!!!!!!! scott.:) :grin2:

Hi scott - the easiest possible mod for a 6D is 6 NIMH D cells, Aluminium reflector, glass lens and a Pelican 3854 bulb set.
On 9000mah batteries low beam will produce 550 Lumen for 4.5hrs and on high beam you'll get 1150 Lumen for 2hrs
You can get the lens from flashlightlens.com
You can get the reflector from CPF'ers Litho123, Fivemega or the Sandwich Shoppe
You can get the batteries from your local electronics store or ebay or thomas distributing
