Question on flashlight legos

Hi,

I'm new to this and I'm wondering if the E1L and the VG FB1 tailcaps are interchangeable? and I have heard that there were 2 different types of switches in the VG FB1. Will some of the innards of the VG FB1 switch interchange with the E1L switch?

No, they are not interchangeable. Vital Gear bodies have internal threads for their tailcaps. This contributes to the compact size of VG bodies, but their tailcaps only fit VG.

SF bodies are externally threaded for tailcaps.
