Hi,

Does any one know how to make the p1d-ce a tighter beam without taking it apart? Is it possible? External Lens? I appologize if this is a repost, but I cannot find information on this subject.

Thanks.

You could fit it with a removable optic lens. Is it too floody for you?

Take it apart...unless you don't want to then I have no idea how you would make a strong or anything that wouldn't take away from teh sexxors that is the P1D-CE (minus the wierd UI) maybe some type of optic in an aluminum mount with 3-4 sectscrews to tighten on the bezel.

I rather not take it apart, I have no idea what I'm doing, I probably end up breaking it. Isn't there some optics we could put over the head of it to make it tighter beam? I'd like it to throw far.. whenever I want it to.....

Secondary optics, more specifically, a collimator lens which slides over the front end. There should be several aftermarket upgrades available for the P1 which will work, but I'm not sure where to source them.

Are you serious? By attaching a telescope, it will do that? If so, I'll do the same.

Sell that generic light on eBay, buy another one w/ a bigger reflector hence more collimated beam.

I don't think this "kiddy" comment is really related to the topic! We all know you hate Fenixes but stop degrading all questions related to them!

I think it's more to do with a certain disagreement with a well known Fenix supplier.

Let it go man...
