-Solved- How to disasamble "KENBAR" light

Hello,
I just recived the KENBAR light from FifthUnit, and I am going to upgrade it to a seul led when i recive it, BUT i can't open it. I can remove the lens and reflector, but can not unscrew the head. Is it glued or something?

Had anyone dela with This Kenbar flashlight?

Seems to be like one piece to me. But if you remove the retaining ring that screws the LED board down in the head, you can easily acces the LED. The LED star is screwed in with just two screws, remove them, then replace the LED with a P4, put the starboard back in, solder it up, put the light back together, that should be it. Not sure what a Seoul would do in semi (resistored) direct drive though. I'm thinking of upgrading mine with a Edison KLC-8.

Brum,
how did you unscrew the retaining ring? There is no holes gaps or etc. Did you drill some holes to be able to turn it?

head seems to me srewed on the body..

and the "RING" :ohgeez:

My ring does have holes in it. I'll post some pics in a couple of hours.

Finaly removed the ring, i drilled hole in ring and then i was able to turn it :ohgeez:

. I made some gaps too, for futher easier removing.
