I think I would prefer to trust my life to a Fenix P1D-CE, than some gadget of a flashlight on the back of a UPS. UPS specs look good though.

You could accomplish something very similar by putting one of those $9 rechargeable Energizer flashlights you can get at Walmart into one of the non-UPS outlets on the UPS. I think you'd be better off just plugging it into the wall though.
