I keep seeing in different threads where people have problems twisting on their Fenix P1D, L0D, L0P SE, etc... This due to the threads being a bit lose and, when switching it on, the light changes to the next level because of the slight 'wobble' causing multiple contacts before it is tight.

You can stop this happening really easily. When you twist it on keep a little bit of tension between the head and the body. ( Like you are pulling it apart.) This stops the 'wobble' in the threads and stops it from flicking over to the next level. Been doing it for ages and it seems to solve the problem fine.

P.S. Please don't start the whole "they should have made the threads tighter" debate again in this thread as that's been covered lots of times.

Well, using a few drops of blue threadlock would tighten things up nicely anyway. Just leave enough bare thread exposed if it is the critical earth return. I had a P1D-CE with nice, precise, tight threads.

Dont put too much though. Then it might get hard to turn on. LOL

I think you have to apply the same rules as you do to women.

Keep them warm and comfortable, create an intimate atmosphere
and tell them how much they mean to you.

OK,OK, OK. I was tempted to re-name the title of this but I wasn't quick enough. Now if I change it, anyone new looking wouldn't know what you lot were talking about.

Oh, and..... Speedos !! Really !
Wouldn't it be a case of " Is that a P1 in your pocket, or is the water just a bit cold ? "
