ZeissOEM2: Because you ordered yours after the engraving process, so your handle is not registered on the light. "001" indicate 1st run and "004" indicate the serial.

OK, I have to post again after receiving the Cree XR-E version and plugin upgrade for my earlier version. This is by far the best light I have owned. Incredibly bright, a beautiful form factor, and small enough for practical EDC. Thanks!
By the way, be careful with the threads when performing the plugin upgrade, I bent them a bit on the old Lux emitter (not that I'll ever need it again).

Jonathan, please could I add the following to my order:
4 x spare O-ring
2 x Spare sapphire lens
8 x 10280 Li-Ion
3 x AAA Nano charger
3 x Charging spacer for 10280
Does the figure in red against my name on the table above mean I owe you money now because the order is ready to ship???

Jonathan, got my Cree-updated+ Draco today and I hope you don't mind this little hijack to say thanks a bunch. :)

loveit, everyone else on the list...it's worth the wait!

My only regret is I couldn't pick up one in every flavor. Beautiful light indoors and out and portable to a fault (mine keeps getting snagged).

Thanks again!

I may have missed it somewhere, but is there a post detailing the difference between plain Ti, TiCN and TiN?

Hard to keep track of, as there are like 6 or 7 draco threads :D
There are pics of all the finishes at http://candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?p=1645419#post1645419

However, I've not seen any discussion of the durability or utility of the coatings - for example, Ti watches and the like are known for getting scratched up, so it would be nice to hear from the creator, or owners, as to whether the bare Ti will get chewed up as a keychain light, so that a coated light is definitely desired for that purpose. I want to buy one as a b-day gift for that purpose (keychain), but the gold TiN is just not my dad's thing. There's a strong possibility that, small as it is, he won't want the draco clunking up his keychain, and I don't know if he will want to keep up on bi-monthly battery maintainance, so I'm leaning towards chrome, since it will save me $120 if he ends up putting it in his sock drawer. OTOH, if the bare Ti is "almost" as durable as the TiCN or the chrome, I might be forced into that, as they are still available, and I don't believe the next run will be out in time for his b-day. (Although gifting him an empty box and filling it with the chrome when it comes in might be entertaining as well as saving my wallet). hmm..
Anyway, anyone out there with the bare Ti that would put it on their EDC keys?

No matter what, bare Ti will scratch but the nice thing is that it can be refinished easily. Also, Ti won't dent with the keys clashing with it. However, if you want the light to look nice and look like the way you got it, TiCN is the way to go. I have a draco TiCN and it still looks like new.

Cheers!

yeah, I have a ti watch, and found I can get a nice brushed metal look with just a green Scotch Brite pad whenever it gets too scratched up ^_^

The following package have been packed & shipped:
_bmaurer, frisco

DM51: I personally do not think you need those spare saphire. I have yet to see one get scratched/crack/break under normal usage. The red indicate the current pending ballance. My spreadsheet have auto conditional-formating ;)
loveit: I got the MO on Saturday, but have been too busy with the family. Your complete order can be seen in the 2nd post.
ScarabDrowner: The members Tiniac guide just love pure Ti, but I'm doing my best to alter that. The TiN & TiCN offer increase hardness and reduction in galling affect as the major advantage.
lrw2: From what you have indicated, I think the TiCN will be the best solution for your dad. As far as durability. It's more like the other way around. The Ti Draco will be doing the scratching. Soon your dad will find that his keys are all smooth and round after the Draco is on his keychain for a month. J/K, that's why I polished all my lights before coating.

Many thanks for the info on the sapphire lenses, Jonathan. I wasn't sure how tough they were, and it sounds like I won't need spares after all, so please cross them off my order.
