I have an old PT Tec 40 Halogen AAx4 and was thinking it might be cool to mod it to accept the new mini mag TerraLux 5w drop-in (I already put the Nite-Ize drop in into a PT Sport Flare, works great).
Two questions....is it okay to drive that LED with 4 AAs? And if so would it get too hot? And if it would get to hot...any ideas on a heat sink?
