Cool, thanks for finding this. As far as I've seen, it's the first look we've had at the new L1, too bad its so small. This also clears up some questions I hadn't seen answered yet. He's using total runtime numbers, so the figures we've been hearing for the E1L and E2L do make sense after all.

Thanks, DasRonin, for sharing this.

What I'm wondering now is, will SF ever make their lights more "RCR123A friendly"? I'm particularly thinking of the new L1.

Woah im loving those run times. The L5 with 120 Lumens and 4 1/2 hours run time thats awesome and a clicky tail cap, shame it's using a TIR that will reduce it's side spill.

The L1 doesnt appeal to me, I prefer 1.1/20 lumens.

Nice find.

I had never thought of doing it before but I did a search for "surefire" on youtube. Quite a few videos. Some crap some quite good.

Thanks DasRonin.

I wouldn't call it crap, some of the products do look interesting.

So they finally came out with the G3. :grin2:

NICE!

Now they just need to start selling it in places that ship internationally. :)

I would'nt mind seeing some beam shots of the new L5.

Pretty much. Most of their recent releases have had no appeal to me. The new G3 is probably the smartest thing they've brought out this year.
