KT2 outta stock for a year now? Is the KT1 and MN15 a viable replacement?

Okay, I heard from Optics HQ that they haven't been getting KT2s or N2s in for a year now. Will the MN15 make contact 3 CR123s in a C3 and KT1?

Yes.

I use the KT1 (which is the same as the KT2, just ships with the N1 instead on the N2) with both the MN15 and MN16.

Surefire is still shipping the KT2. They include an MN15 LA instead of the N2. They will not even speculate when (or if) the N2 will be available again.

At the Valley Forge gun show last month, I had the opportunity to buy a KT1, incuding the N1, and an N2, all for 90-some bucks. Since there were other things to buy, I passed up on the deal, but it would have been pretty sweet for my Z3. Maybe I'll see if the same guy has a stand at the next show.

OpticsHQ rocks! Their membership prices are fantastic. If you call them up you can swap out the N1 for (in my case) a MN16 LA for $3. Don't forget to ask for the CPF5 coupon for an additional 5%. They even include a fauxton. The free shipping is a added bonus.
