A Good windup light by Garrity?

I saw a add for Garrity windup light made by Garrity in OSH store flyer. It said "2 for 1! Reg: 15.99."

So you get 2 for 15.99 + Tax.

Garrity makes some very comsumer oriented flash lights, but would you get this for home emergency use?

Set phasers to kill! Those style cranks are designed to look like some sci-fi laser weapon right? And only some crank selling a book on late night radio believes in them. Fun for kids to take apart and learn stuff... wish I had one back in the day.

Is sure looks a lot like the dorcy crank light reviewed at http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/dorcy_dynamo.htm which got 1.5 stars. (99% chance it is made in the same factory anyway)I'd get 2 for 1 just for fun and might learn a thing or two by taking em' apart! It's so cheap, why not just buy em and see what happens? And write up a mini review for as all.
