Cree XR-E in a MagLed 2AA

I am sure that I am not the first to do this but I got my P4 bined Cree XR-E's in the mail today and while playing with them I noticed that the deep reflector from my MagLed 2AA light worked great with it. I never liked my Mag because it had a very purple tint and did not seem to be very bright to me. I knew what had to be done. I nearly destroyed the mag geting it apart and I was afraid I was going to destroy the Cree when I had to use wire snipers to cut the ceramic corners of it so that it would fit in the heat sink pocket. But the results are nothing short of amazing. This may become one of my favorite lights now.

I think the MagLed is a great host because it comes with a regulator and a reflector that workes great with a XR-E.
