I have a 6P with 2 A19's and a G&P 12Volt LA from Houndlight. I was surprised how much better it was in every category than my Streamlight Ultra Stinger. The throw was much further, and much better shaped beam.
I am guess ing it is somewhere in the 180-210 Lumens range, but that is a guess. Anyone know for sure what this SureFire setup would produce?

In the title you say it beats your Scorpion which sounds about right. But in your post you say it beats an Ultra Stinger which doesn't sound right... you're using the stock Surefire head right?

Which flashlight are you talking about the scorpion or the ultra stinger?

The Surefire was the clear winner against the Ultra Stinger. My test was shining against some trees about 100m away.

No using the bezel that came stock from a older 6P. It seems that this seems odd considering the responses I have gotten, so I will reverify tonight. My goal in this was to produce a lower cost light that could compete against the M4. But as my wife had it in her car, I compared it against the Streamlight Ultra Stinger instead.
