Can you run a KL6 on 6V?

I will expand on my question. I have a C2 that I was planning on getting a KL5 for. But I like the look of the KL6 better and with the adapter that Lighthound sales I can make the KL6 fit on the C2 body. Voltage on the KL5 and KL6 are both 5 watts, so in theory the KL6 would work on my C2 with just a shorter run time. Anyone have any thoughts?
