Mystery Surefire

Browsing through a flashlight gallery, i stumbled on these pictures:

The light in question is the one that has the tape switch, an M3 body and what appears to be a 2.5" optic.

Picture says it's from "2005/02/15 (21:45)" - so I'm guessing it's not new :shrug:

Most likeley an old prototype. Surefire makes alot of lights that never go into production.

Or they only make a few of them like the beast.

The TurboHead you refer to is NOT new as has been mentioned.
Lots of SureFires never get released to public and CPF hardly sees any of them.
The "ICE" light bezel is an example of one that does get spotted and this is another...

Next time you talk to PK can you put in a good word that we need to see a hard anodized Z2?

Showing you a photo of an Z2-HA is relatively easy but I have a feeling that's not quite what you're after...

What we really need is for everything to be black HA....

It has an optic so I'm wondering if it is an LED or incandescent?

LED. That one appears to be one of the LuxeonV versions.

cant you just buy the weapon light tailcap and throw it on a m3t

Of course you can - you can use the XMxx TailCap on any model that uses a standard Z41 LockOut TailCap (such as the M3T).
However, the thrust of this thread is directed towards the TurboHead bezel because it is not a standard SureFire product.

There have been threads on the purple A2's before. Perhaps using the CPF Google search for "purple A2" will find those threads in which it would be better to discuss the purple A2. To quickly answer your questions:
