How to remove KL1 board ? (any gen)

So I have the old KL1 and new KL1, both heads opened in little seconds, without heat, without sweat...

Now, how does one remove the boards ?

What about those two holes drilled in either side of the LED. Can you use those to unthread the head. I never tried it and no longer have a KL1, :thinking: I wonder where it went. Just desolder those wires to the led first.

Anyway you can clamp the head in a vise. Just drill a hole in a small piece of wood a little smaller than the diameter of the head. Then Cut the wood in half thru the hole, now you can clamp the head between the wood without marring it. Poplar works great its soft.

The old KL1 has a bord, it moves, but does not come loose.

How do you remove the [+] contact from the underside of the head ?
