I do not see a GatLight on this Internet-Shop. Or do I make a mistake because of my "perfect" english ?

No matter how many tomatoes you remove from your eyes,
you will not find any Gatlights at that website.

I think I´m going to get a drinker.
German beer is good, but not in such a quantity. Every hour one bottle :drunk:

Don`t think so.

Most people with an GatLight look exaclty here.

And my english ist not the best , but i think the "B" in
"CPF`s Custom & Mod B/S/T" will stay for Buy.

So, i hope, in a few years i get an V1 or V2

My English is not the best, but i hope, everybody who read this, will understand, what i want to say.

Short Story:

In january i looked at a GatLight Pila. Spent a lot of time, reading every old thread from the last years, where the word "GatLight" was in.

Then sent a lot of PM`s, to all of the owners of a GatLight, i looked for.

Then in february (very fast) i got an info, someone owned a GatLight Pila.

Need very long, think 4 - 5 weeks, to get more infos, specially pictures.

Then in march i bought a GatLight Pila V1 SS, paid and was waiting for shipping the parcel.

I ordered normal shipping. But the shipping needed 5 weeks !!!
Some times, i thought, shipping is lost. And then, i have to the shipping company (not the seller).

But yesterday, longer than 5 weeks later, a parcel arrived me home.

Best packaging, no damaging.
I looked inside,......

and now, you have to look at pictures. You can see these here:

The seller sold me these rare GatLight for a very "normal" price. And wat comes to me ???

A beauty in a speciall, after the selling in handmade work bild wooden beautyful case.
The words are missing to me.
So many perfect work to sent the flashlight in a surely and beautyful case. No more money for this and no words before shipping.

This seller is the.... i have really no words for this.
Christmas and Birthday at one day.

If you have to look for exactly this wonderful behavior, you have to look over 1.000 times to find one.

I have to say

Thank you more than 1.000 times. These Light and the case get an honour place next to my other GatLights.

I always wanted the light to have a nice case. No reason why it can't still have a nice case. Right?

Tecnically, the box is not entirely hand made. I bought the unfinished wooden case, then finished it and made the foam and felt interior.
Still nice work if I do say so myself.

wow nice story... congratulations on getting the V1... those are really getting kind of rare.. having the V1 and V2 and especially the V3 in a couple weeks shows the evolution of this unique design... the v1 and v2 are very unique but show the progress.. and the v3 is in a category of its own... you'll see

I have a feeling that the V1s and V2s will become very unique items one day... there are so many interesting things developing around the V3 (Holywood, Magazines etc) - and we haven't pursued any of those yet - because we want to do all these things with final V3 production versions... there are a couple magazines that already wrote about it (France, Germany and China)... and probably will publish this or next month.... but that's just off a press release... I want to read what they write when they actually hold one in their hands...

Anyway JimmyM awesome box.. very nice. As you can see with the V3 we've followed the same approach (wood box)...

And keep your eyes open for the photo contest.. once we've finished the one going on right now we'll certainly launch another one...
