From who does the FM battery holder plug come from?

Here is another source, Radio Shack, for the correct plug. I found them in stock at my local RS.
If your soldering skill are like mine you might want to have a few extra test dummies around for you to practice on.

The plug is an evolutionary leap past aligator clips. It is clever, easy, quick and satisfying. Fivemega is a genius and it shows in his fine work.
Why not use the plug?

this soldering job is about as easy as they come, so even if you ruin ten of these sub-$3 plugs you'll get there eventually!

The center pin ( male )on the battery adapter is positive, and there is not a lot of room for error there. I would hate to think about that alligator clamp touching the side wall during charging.
