Tec 40 standard mirror wide or narrow

Hi all,

I'm interested in a Tec 40 because of its customizability.

There were two accessories that drew my attention: a wide and a narrow replacement mirror.

Are there only two possibilities? And if so, what mirror does the Tec come with standard?

Tec 40 now comes with faceted wide beam reflector as standard. The non-faceted narrow beam reflector is $2.50 from brightguy.com. Most prefer wide beam, since the beam is smoother, but I use the narrow beam for the extra throw.

The only other option is to crank up the volume with NiMHs and an overdriven 3 cell bulb. Search Tec 40 here, and you should find a lot of info about it.

I planned to order the one that didn't come with the standard package right along, but I didn't want to get stuck with two identical reflectors.

Curious about how it looks next to the E2... ;-)
