Anyone here use any BLOG Software?

I was thinking of changing my Blog Page over to some actual Blog software.

Wordpress is a free feature of my webhost, globat.com
so I installed it and was trying it out, but it seems fairly limited.
My WordPress Blog

I cant even set how wide the columns are, etc.
And inserting photos seems a bit tedious at best.

Any tips?
Whats the best software,
am I missing something for Wordpress?

Do you by any chance use Google Picasa for photos? If not, give that a try. Great organizing, and useful features. Plus it has a Blog feature where you can post a blog, post photos in your blog, etc. I don't use it, but noticed it for sure. Uses "BlogThis!" as the place it uploads your blog to I guess. I don't know how all that works, I am not a regular blogger. But I sure like Google Picasa

I think I am going to use Blogspot,
seems to be a really popular one to use, and has nice features.
I just wish I could host it myself, I dont like relying on them to host it.
