Lumapower M1 (OP) vs SF KL4?

I own a SF L4 and I'm looking for something simmilar in size, but with better throw. I know that the smooth reflector throws extremely well, but does anyone know how the M1 OP reflector compares to the L4? I don't mind sacrificing a little bit of throw by going OP, but I don't want the "wall of light" effect that the L4 has.

Thoughts?

You won't get the L4 " wall of light " with the M1 OP, but you will get great throw with it ( I have one, and owned an L4 ) and it still has very nice and usable spill. I think they will compliment each other very well. The M1 OP will out throw the L4, but nothing throws a wall of light like the L4 will.

The M1 with OP is more like the U2 in terms of throw/flood ratio

If you don't want the wall of light, the M1 is definitely what you want.

I love my L4, but the M1 seems like a more versatile flashlight. It outthrows many other flashlights, but has a nice useable spill beam. The numbers the M1 puts out is quite good (beats the KL4 in every meaningful way)
