thickness of a luxeon star?

I want to mount a Seoul P4 LED in a light engine, but have no stars, I am going to use copper pennies to attain the correct height.

...but the question is what is the thickness of the star where the LED rests?

For a typical luxeon star the height of the heatsink base is .06"
