Anyone know of a good paint that leaves a mirror finish that can be used to restore an old flashlight reflector? Thanks.

Humbrol used to do a range of model metalic paints that you painted on. They dried to a powder finish and then, when you gave them a light polish, came up nice and shiney. There may be other things better out there but if you see them in the shop, it may be worth giving them a go.

Yeah, the full kit is quite pricey because it has the larger cans with both base coat and top clear coats. But they have a Demo Can (150ml) for only $20 which should be plenty to do one or more reflectors. Even the full size can (400ml) of the Killer Chrome by itself is only $40. And instead of using their basecoat, any Gloss Black paint from the hardware store for a few $$ should work. Since a flashlight reflector is protected by a lens, you should also be able to skip the clear coat.
