Hey guys,
I was wondering if this nutty idea would work (or was just lame): instead of having a Quad-Lux or Quad-Cree w/ 4 individual and small reflectors, what if you arranged four emitters in a tight back at the middle, and just used a bored out standard Mag reflector? Esp. w/ the floody beam aspect of the Cree, four Crees together would just be more floody. And if you were somehow able to preserve the focusing ability of the reflector (though I think the cammed portion is too narrow though, and would have to be cut out huh) it would work even better. But even fixed-focus, the combined power of the four Crees, jammed into a big reflector would produce super-throw, no?
It seems like our throw lights are all confined to single leds in a big reflector...so how about multiple leds in a big reflector?
Thoughts?
