My M375 "skalamander" came today from the Famous MilkyLabs!
Scott did a Incredible Job on this Beauty.
It has a KL2 Crenellated Bezel, Leef Plain 2X CR123A Body, and a nice SW02 Tailcap. It hosts 3 Seoul SC P4 USVOI Bin 5300K (very Nice Tint) at 500mA
Will add more Pictures as soon as I find some Lithium AA's.
More about the "skalamander", Its Super Nice, Compact, and Looks as good as it Lights.
This thing is Bright!! Somewhere around 375 Lumens! Powered by 2x CR123A Batteries In a Leef 2x CR123A Body with no Grooves, Just a Plain Tube Which i Like.
Its still daylight but... will add beamshots as soon as it gets dark.
Will also Do a Full review In a couple of days in the Review Section.
So, this is just like a Teaser for you all!
Thank you scott for this Wonderfull Project and for the Landyard "tail" and the "grip"
You'll be hearing from me again!

As You can see above. Me and the package got into a fight. I clearly Won!

Needless to say, but you guys know Im super Happy!

EDIT*

2 Of my Milkymodded Heads came in Today!

First is the Optimator KL3 Head. Its an Old style KL3 Head with a McR 27 Cut Reflector and A Seoul P4 USWOH Driven @ 1000mA Giving off 200+ Lumens!
This Gives wonderfull throw and Superb Spill.
Im using a Leef 3x CR123A Body That would give me Approx. 1:30min Of runtime.

Next Is a New Gen KL3 Head, Milkyspit Modified It to Utilize My favorite reflector (McR27L). The Seoul Is being Driven @ 350mA Giving off Approx. 100 Lumens in the Process and Giving me 4Hrs+ Of runtime on 2x Primaries.
Im Running It on 2x Primaries In a Leef 2x CR123A body and a SW01 Fatty!

The Throw On both of these lights are Amazing!
Thanks Scott.

Re: Skalamander...

That's not bad at all. I can't wait to get my Milky mod, not as powerful as yours but the runtime is a little longer which I need. Looking forward to your review.

Re: Skalamander...

WOW! I love it. The body is so different too. I've got a project-M spec and a standard Leef bodies, and I like yours too.

375 lumens! Wowza. I also love the crenelated bezel. Sigh.

Dizzy's right, it is calling out for an SW01. :naughty:

Beamshots! Beamshots!

Now I've got to start saving pennies so Scott can add some Seoul to my (coming) KT4.

Re: Skalamander...

This maybe a stupid question but why do you need to find some lithium AA's if your light runs on 123's? or is it for your camera?

BTW very nice!

BMB - I believe that the AAs are for his camera. To-wit; "Will add more Pictures as soon as I find some Lithium AA's."

benchmade_boy,

I'm going to have to save a few pennies before this little project. Some Seoul, multiple levels, ~1000 lumens or so. Hmm. So I'm going to use the light as-is for a while. :)

skalo,

I'm using "Link for forums 1" or some-such on Imageshack now. If I don't, I usually end up with issues with links.

Take some more pics of that unusual body, and I'm awaiting beamshots and a usability report too.

As for SW01, everything's negotiable ;) Check out Leef's new tailcaps in the Modded B/S/T forum. They look pretty good too.

Re: Skalamander...

Is it Good Now?

Chronos, you will also be hearing from me soon!

This is why Im BROKE! :)

Cant wait to use it in the shadow of darkness muaahhha.

about that body...Mr Scott put a Ruber Grip over it to keep it top secret :lolsign: . He helped me out by putting the rubber grip so It would be easier to grip since the body itself had no grooves or grip.
If i remove it I wont be able to put it back on since Im going to have to cut it off to remove it.
Did you say 1000 Lumens!?
Wow... Thats going to be very Interesting!
Keep us posted!

Sorry buddy.
