Broke the legs off a Lux3: how to fix?

I broke one of the legs off the Lux3 from my MiniMagLED. What can I do to reattach some conductive path? I tried soldering on a wire but the solder just pills up and doesn't flow to the tiny thickness of the leads. Is there a way to get further inside the emitter?

There are two secondary contact points beside the longer ones.
If you use a little extra flux, you should have no problem soldering to
the smaller brass contact.
Good luck

Done this a few times with about a 50% success rate. Just solder the nub until a glob sticks and heat up the lead and touch it to the glob (hope it doesnt pull off the nub.) and then put a dab of glue over the contacts to keep vibration and shock from tearing your welding job. It's not pretty but works sometimes. Keep messin with it. One of you will win.

If it's really bad, you can scrape material off the black casing with a razor blade until there's enough showing to solder a wire and finish the connection that way.
