First of all I'd like to say I used the search function but I couldn't find what I'm looking for.
I know I have read somewhere on CPF about people opening their Gerber IU to replace the LED by a better Nichia CS LED. Now is there somewhere a clear tutorial or photos about opening a Gerber IU? Or some photos of the inside? If it's possible I want to put a Cree XR-E (one of the warm white tints which I like very much) instead of the 5mm Nichia LED.
