OK, with the new Cree efficiency craze we need to put it in an efficient package. The E1 has a great flat regulation circuit that appears to be more efficient than the LOP one with PWM.
This would be a great simple EDC with a good amount of light for 95 % of its uses. It would have the output of the LOP on medium (which is said to be better than a typical 2D flashlight) with very flat regulation and very good runtime on a lithium - the perfect EDC!
