What can I build with this beast?

I have a huge rechargeable battery that i got from an airsoft gun. I was wondering what kind of flashlight can I possibly build with it. it is a Ni-Cd 8.4 volt 1800mAh battery. Any one have any ideas of what I can do with it? Thanks a lot guys.

No offense but that is a PUNY battery, I would leave it airsoft, 1.8Ah isn't much runtime and the size is huge for what it is.

Yah not worth much as a flashlight source. Although, That pack probably has a REAL high current rating though. You could build a real bright light that would only run for a few minutes with it.

+1 for that - probably the cells can deliver dozens of amps with a very small voltage sag. Are there sub-c size cells inside? You could disassembly the package and use cells in a C size Mag.

To me it looks like a current source for a serious hotwire mod.
