Is the "shoulder" of the SF bodie shaved/sanded for it to fit into the Arc head ?

I've got this same setup in Gun-Metal grey...

From what I can see it looks like the Arc head was cut down a diny bit. But it's hard to tell in the pic.

Even if it was, the tube should have got some shaving for it to go in the head all the way to the threads.... Still a nice combo imho !

I dunno. looks like he cut a lot off of the head (probably to get the body threads to hit the head threads). I'll bet the body hasn't been modified. Look at the thickness of the bevel on the body. Looks the same as my E1w. IF he did shave it i can't tell.

The flanged edge of the SF body was probably turned down.
I did the same thing, really makes an excellent setup,
the SF body seems to go with it so well.
Mine required a spacer so the cell would contact.
